What is the government committed to?

This is what the government has committed to in the Comprehensive Spending Review 2007 for the period 2008-11:

2007 PBR CSR: Public service agreements
The new Public Service Agreements (PSAs), announced in CSR07, are the Government's top 30 priorities for 2008-11. PSAs, PSA Delivery Agreements and, also, the Service Transformation Agreement.

Departmental Report (MOD website)
The Departmental Report provides detail on what the department does and how it is performing against its commitments (including the efficiency programme). Departments publish these reports each spring.

As reported in the Autumn Performance Report:

Autumn Performance Reports provide an update of performance later in the year and complement Departmental Reports. (see above)1

1. The Ministry of Defence produces an Annual Report in lieu of a Departmental Report. Their report combines the functions of a Departmental Report and Resource Accounts.
